The Company gives strong emphasis to Safety Procedures
and regular programs starting from the induction of the employee to the
purchase of new heavy equipments and vehicles are conducted in order to
prevent and minimize the hazards. The primary objective of these programs
are to promote general safety practices and to explain the needs and importance
of the safety on site and prevention of accidents. In order to achieve
the above mentioned goal the following courses of action are put into
effect.

Safety orientation of new employees. |

Educating employees detailing the necessity and importance of personal safety and that of equipments. |

Maintaining good housekeeping in all areas. |

Enforcing safety rules and regulations. |

Organizing accident prevention committee. |

Hazard elimination through systematic inspection and use of protective gear and the right tools for an appropriate job |

Strict adherence to the loss prevention requirements of Saudi Aramco's safety standards and applicable to Saudi Arabian Laws. |

Adequate monetary allocation is provided for items
such as trench bracing, barricades, signs work platforms, personnel
protective equipment and other items necessary for the protection of
employees, equipment, materials and members of general public and their
property.

Before starting up the job, key personnel meet to discuss
accident prevention, study job layouts, determine plans and schedules,
also emphasize requirements and elaborate procedures, thorough inspection
of job site and elaborate procedures, through inspection of job site and
adjoining procedures are done and a brief supplemental safety programme
is developed and distributed to supervisory personnel assigned to jobsite.
Weekly safety meetings for supervisory personel to review accidents that
occurred during the previous week, taking note of safety deficiency and
establish measures, job hazards, contemplated control, protective equipment
and personnel training are covered.

We take care to hire the appropriate man to the right
job. Despite the fact that labour shortage in some areas is acute especially
for skilled manpower, every effort is being made by the management to
see to it that only the right person with the right skills are designated
for the job. Good physical condition is of pre-importance for employees
under Saudi Arabian climatic conditions, particularly vehicle and equipment
operators.

Injuries at job site will be handled at site itself
for minor first aids. For other injuries and sickness we have retained
the services of Rhima Ras Tanura Gulf Clinic, S.A. and this provision
of medical care will meet the requirements of SAG labor code.

The company provides the neccessary protection wherever
warrants it. Adequate quantity of different types of protective devices
are maintained in store for specific usage.All materials and equipment
used in temporary electrical installation are of a SAUDI ARAMCO approved
type and maintained in good condition. Suitable fire extinguishers or
other fire control device are kept ready at all times for instant use
where welding is done. All work will be done in accordance with safety
requirements of SAUDI ARAMCO schedule "D" of the ARAMCO construction safety
manual. .
